Aprons

Personalised Aprons, One or One Hundred

Want a personalised apron with someone's name on it for Christmas? A matching set for the kitchen staff? Aprons to sell at your market stall? All the same job to us, and there's no minimum order quantity, so you're not stuck ordering fifty to get one.

Pick your style first, then we'll sort the decoration:

  • Bib aprons – full coverage, the standard for kitchens and cafés
  • Waist and half aprons – short, light, good for front-of-house and bar
  • Cross-back aprons – no neck strap, better across a long shift
  • Denim and canvas – heavier duty, and they wear in nicely

Personalised aprons in Australia turn up everywhere: birthday and Father's Day gifts, wedding and bucks night presents, matching sets for a family that takes the barbecue seriously, and cooking class or fundraiser gear. If you're printing one, our online design tool handles it in a few minutes. If you're printing a hundred, it handles that too.

Apron Designs, Patterns and Prints

An apron is a big flat canvas, which makes it one of the more fun things to design. You've got the whole front to play with, and no seams or panels getting in the way of your artwork.

That opens up apron designs a t-shirt can't really do: all-over patterns, a large central graphic, a repeated motif, or something that reads as a garment in its own right rather than a uniform with a logo slapped on. Patterned aprons work particularly well for market stalls, produce stores and anywhere the apron is part of the look rather than just workwear.

Custom Aprons With Your Logo

Your staff wear their aprons for eight hours in front of every customer who walks in. That's more brand exposure than most businesses get out of a sign. Custom aprons with a logo are a hit with:

  • Cafés and coffee roasters
  • Restaurants and commercial kitchens
  • Breweries, wineries and distilleries
  • Bakeries, delis and butchers
  • Florists, nurseries and homewares stores
  • Market stalls and food trucks
  • Barbers and salons

For hospitality, embroidery is usually the call. A stitched logo survives a commercial laundry cycle in a way print doesn't, and it reads as considered rather than promotional. If your logo is detailed or full-colour, print will capture it better – tell us which matters more and we'll point you the right way.

Fitting out a whole venue? Our business merch range covers aprons alongside tea towels, tote bags, stubby holders and staff tees, so the whole front-of-house look matches. Ready to bring your brand to life? Design your custom aprons today with The Tshirt Mill.

Custom Apron FAQs

What’s the difference between a full apron and a half/waist apron?

A full apron provides coverage from the chest to the knees, making it a practical choice for kitchens and other jobs where extra protection from spills and splashes is useful. A half apron sits around the waist and offers more freedom of movement, suited for bars, cafés and front-of-house service.

Can I put my cafe or business logo on an apron?

Yes, you can personalise an apron with your café or business logo. We regularly supply branded, customised aprons for cafés, restaurants, bars and other hospitality businesses looking to create a professional, consistent look for their team.

Can I order a single personalised apron as a gift?

Yes, you can order a single personalised apron as a gift; there’s no minimum order on our aprons (in Australia). A customised apron can be a thoughtful and practical gift idea for a friend or family member, and we have a couple of different apron designs and materials to choose from.

What material are your aprons and are they washable?

Our aprons are available in different fabrics, including 100% cotton, linen, denim and cotton drill. They are washable, with cold washing recommended to help maintain the fabric and custom print. For best results, wash inside out, use a gentle cycle, avoid tumble drying and dry in the shade.

Can I supply my own apron design or artwork?

Yes, you can upload your own apron design or artwork through our online designer for your printed apron order. If you’d prefer to supply the apron yourself, you can also use our Bring Your Own service, which still allows you to create a personalised apron (Australia), but on your own apron.
